Deleting your Emunity account.
You can delete your Emunity account and its data at any time. There are two ways to request it — in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed. Neither requires you to speak to anyone.
The short version: request deletion, then a 30-day grace period begins. Log in during that window to cancel it. After 30 days your personal data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
01 Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest route and confirms your identity automatically.
- ✦ Open Emunity and go to Profile → Settings.
- ✦ Tap Delete account.
- ✦ Confirm when prompted. Your deletion is scheduled immediately.
02 Delete by email
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@emunityclub.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
- ✦ Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you registered with so we can verify the request.
- ✦ We verify ownership before acting — this protects you from someone else deleting your account.
- ✦ We action verified requests within 7 days, after which the same 30-day grace period applies.
03 The 30-day grace period
- ✦ Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days after the request. Nothing is erased before then.
- ✦ During those 30 days your profile is hidden and you cannot be booked.
- ✦ Changed your mind? Simply log in during the window and cancel the deletion. Your account is restored as it was.
- ✦ After cancelling, there is a 7-day cooldown before you can request deletion again.
- ✦ Once the 30 days elapse, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
04 What is deleted
Everything that identifies you is permanently erased:
- ✦ Name, phone number, email address, and city.
- ✦ Your profile — bio, genres, stage or venue name, ratings, and social handles.
- ✦ All uploaded media: profile and cover photos, portfolio videos, and reels.
- ✦ Your gigs, applications, bookings, reviews you wrote, follows, likes, saves, and comments.
- ✦ Payout details and device/notification tokens.
05 What is kept, and why
- ✦ Anonymized activity signals. We retain a small amount of behavioural data with all direct and indirect identifiers irreversibly removed, to keep recommendations working for other users. It cannot be linked back to you or re-identified.
- ✦ Transaction records. Where Indian law requires us to retain financial and tax records of completed payments, we keep the minimum required for the statutory period. These are not used to build a profile of you.
- ✦ Reviews others wrote about your past bookings may remain visible in aggregate form, detached from your identity.
