These terms govern your use of Emunity — the app and marketplace that connects artists, venues, and audiences for live gigs across Delhi NCR. By creating an account or booking through Emunity, you agree to what follows.
In plain terms: book in good faith, show up, treat each other well, and let escrow handle the money. Emunity is the platform that connects you — the gig itself is an agreement between artist and venue.
01 Who can use Emunity
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Venues and artists are responsible for holding any licenses, permits, and rights required to host or perform live music. You agree to keep your account details accurate and your login secure.
02 Our role
Emunity is a marketplace and facilitator. When an artist and venue confirm a gig, the performance agreement is between the two of them. We provide the tools — discovery, booking, escrow, ratings — but we are not a party to the gig itself and do not employ artists or operate venues.
03 Bookings & confirmations
✦ A gig is confirmed when both sides accept the agreed terms — fee, date, set length, and any conditions.
✦ Both parties must honor a confirmed booking. Details can only change by mutual agreement in the app.
✦ Artists agree to perform as described; venues agree to provide the agreed slot, space, and conditions.
04 Payments, escrow & fees
✦ On confirmation, the venue's advance is held by our regulated escrow partner.
✦ Funds are released to the artist after the gig is marked complete, subject to any dispute window.
✦ Emunity may charge a service fee, shown clearly before you confirm a booking.
✦ You are responsible for your own taxes on income earned or payments made through the platform.
05 Cancellations & no-shows
Cancellation terms are presented at the time of booking. In general:
✦ Cancellations within the agreed window may forfeit part or all of the advance.
✦ No-shows and repeated cancellations affect your rating and may lead to suspension.
✦ Genuine disputes can be raised in the app; our support team reviews escrow releases case by case.
06 Community conduct
To keep Emunity a place people trust, you agree not to:
✦ Arrange payments off-platform to avoid escrow protection or fees.
✦ Post false, infringing, or harmful content, or impersonate others.
✦ Harass, discriminate against, or endanger other members of the community.
✦ Misuse ratings, create fake accounts, or manipulate the marketplace.
07 Your content
You keep ownership of the reels, photos, and profile content you post. By posting it, you grant Emunity a license to display and promote it within the app and our marketing. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including any music performed or shared.
08 Disclaimers & liability
Emunity is provided "as is". We work hard to keep the platform reliable, but we don't guarantee the conduct, quality, or attendance of any artist, venue, or audience member. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the booking in question.
09 Suspension & termination
You can close your account any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, harm the community, or put the platform at risk. Obligations tied to completed or in-progress bookings survive termination.
10 Changes & contact
We may update these terms as Emunity evolves, with the date noted above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions? Reach us at admin@emunityclub.com.
Template notice: this is a starting draft for Emunity. Have it reviewed by legal counsel and adapted to your jurisdiction and payment/escrow arrangements before you go live.
